I first started booking gigs for myself at age 13 all around the San Francisco Bay Area. After working for a few years to target specific venues to grow my audience, I booked my first tour by age 17. Upon graduating college, I was booking enough work to draw the attention of other -- much more established -- musicians. So many of my peers and even mentors frequently asked, "how do you manage to book so many gigs?", or "how did you get a response from that venue?! I never heard back", or, one of the most common ones, "can you help me figure out how to book a tour?". It was then that I realized doing booking work was a special skill in itself -- up until that moment, it had been second nature (and modeled from a young age by my dad who is an acclaimed musician!) to the point where I had never really thought about it. One day -- on a total fluke to be honest! -- I posted online that I was thinking about officially offering booking services to fellow musicians. Little did I know how that moment would change my life. The next morning, I woke up to emails from artists all over the West Coast wanting to hire me to book residencies, tours, local gigs, radio appearances, session work, and more. I quickly got to work and immediately fell in love with the rush of helping artists achieve dreams they had been working on for years: venues they had been dying to get into, artists they had wanted to connect with for an opening slot, tours they had dreamed of but hadn't been able to realize -- I was able to help with all of it purely from my own booking experience and the music business education I had been fortunate to receive along the way. Now, my workweek is a wonderful mess of booking, management + consultation calls with artists all over the United States, and time for my own performing career. Every aspect of my career was born out of pure love and excitement about music and performing, and I can guarantee that if we work together, I will pour my whole heart into it.
