My Story...
I am an independent artist, educator, and entrepreneur originally from the Bay Area. My parents are both musicians, and my upbringing was rich with musical variety: I grew up singing everything from musical theater classics to jazz standards to the latest Taylor Swift hits. After starting my performing career at age 13, I never looked back. I began booking myself a steady steam of gigs to get my name out in the local music scene, and to make money that would later go towards funding my debut album.
In 2016, I released my first EP, The Reason Why, shortly before relocating to Seattle to pursue a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Composition from Cornish College of the Arts. During my years in Seattle, I continued to build my performance resume and released two additional albums—Baby Songbird (2018) and Forgiving The Rain (2019). It was at Cornish where I met my lifelong partner and creative collaborator Alex Michels. In 2020, we officially formed our band Honey Disposition. In the years since, we have released original music, toured extensively across the US and performed regularly in the five different cities we've lived in.
In addition to performing, I've always had a deep love for teaching. Drawing from a family background in education, I have taught private lessons in voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, and songwriting for ten years. In 2022, Alex and I officially launched the Honey Disposition School of Music, offering a unique music education program focused on songwriting and performance. Our school provides private lessons, group classes for children, teens, and adults, master classes, summer camps, and more.
In 2024, I expanded my artistic endeavors by launching a music booking business. This is something my peers in the music industry had been begging me to do for years, and as soon as I launched it, I only regretted not starting this venture sooner. I now represent a diverse roster of musical and visual artists across the West Coast, and find great joy in helping artists create the career they have spent their life dreaming of.
